This support is designed to include assessment of individual needs and implementation such as, assistance in Adaptive daily skills, Job development and interview building skills, Seeking admission to schools and providing supports while at classroom taking lectures. CLRI helps the Participants in maintaining and securing decent homes or apartments. We support individuals in keeping up with their activities of daily living such as: house chores, medical runs, grocery shopping, self grooming, food preparation and exercises while seeking new opportunities in their lives. We facilitate circles of support to encourage the development of employment goals for individuals; as they continue to have fun in pursuing their dreams.
Shared Living Arrangement (SLA): Another segment of Support Services available at Community Living of Rhode Island is the Shared Living Arrangement “SLA”. Community Living of Rhode Island is certified by Rhode Island Department of Behavioral Healthcare Developmental Disabilities & Hospitals (BHDDH) as an Authorized Placement Agency to help provide another type of Residential Support Options for Adults with Intellectual Disabilities. These individuals reside with and receive customized supports from someone who has contracted with the Authorized Placement Agency (CLRI) to be a Home Provider for that Individual in compliance with the State of Rhode Island Department of Behavioral Health Developmental Disabilities and Hospitals Rules and Regulations
